High-quality, innovative modular pannier system by KRIEGA, specifically designed to fit the KTM 690, Husqvarna 701 and GASGAS 700 models without the need for any metal pannier frames. The OS-BASE is an 'over the seat harness' which allows KRIEGA'S OS-6, OS-12 or OS-18 Adventure Packs (all available separately) to be mounted as panniers. The modular design allows to modify the luggage set-up to suit any ride - from a day’s single track to longer adventure trips. By adding an additional OS-Adventure Pack as a top bag, it is possible to extend the carrying capacity to up to 54 litres. The flexible design of the OS-BASE can also be used to mount other bags, such as the earlier model KRIEGA Overlander 15 packs, as panniers as well as the KRIEGA US-Drypacks as top bags and includes Loop Mounts to attach a tent, a sleeping mat etc. The OS-BASE is quickly and easily fixed to the bike by using the OS Rack Looops and the heel plates included in the delivery. High-quality side stand bypass dongle by the US manufacturer VANASCHE MOTORSPORTS, suitable for the below-mentioned models. KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas have gone to great lengths to provide a side stand sensor that cannot be tampered with by not allowing any gear engagement without the side stand in the "UP" position. In spite of the undisputed safety aspect, there are a few other issues. If this sensor is to fail (or the magnet lost) while in the field, the rider will be left stranded. However, this is not a simple roadside repair, like cutting the switch off and twisting wires together or even digging up a proper resistor to temporarily alleviate the problem. This is a 50% duty cycle square wave that would be almost impossible to duplicate without the proper hardware, an oscilloscope, and the necessary knowledge in circuits/electronics.   Carrying one of these dongles on the bike provides for a little peace of mind should the OEM product fail.  WARNING: This product is to be carried as a spare part and to be used to get rider and  bike to safety when the OEM sensor fails. It is NOT to be installed while the OEM side stand sensor is operating normally, as this allows the bike to engage gears with the side stand still in the down position which can result in property damage and/or injury.
